We have live music at least 5 nights a week, with no cover charge ever. We have a traditional Irish Tune Session (or "Seisun" in Gaelic) each Sunday evening, and our long-running Open Mic Night (currently on hiatus) will be resuming on Tuesday nights in the Spring. On Mondays (except during Monday Night Football season) and Wednesdays we have a variety of bands, each Monday starting at 8:30, and Hosea Hargrove and the RoadRunners each Wednesday starting at 10pm, right after Pub Quiz. What About Our Band?
B. D. Riley's books other live acts on Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights, with bands scheduled to play from 10:30pm until 1:45, with closing time at 2am. We have a high-performance house PA with suspended main speakers and a quality floor monitor, as well as a few mics and stands if needed.

All bands are paid a guaranteed negotiated rate for performing, and are welcome to sell merchandise and/or put out a tip jar for additional revenue. We are graced with many more bands than dates available, but are always looking for new talent. You should know we book at least two-three months in advance, and have a strong preference for local bands as opposed to touring acts.

What You Need To Do
If you'd like to play the Pub (and especially if you are part of a local Austin act) please feel free to send us a message with your website or location of MP3 files to give us a sample of your music. Please also let us know where else you play, and give a general description of your music. Of course, you can drop off a CD and or a press kit at the pub if you'd like as well, just be sure the CD is marked with your band name and contact info. We get a LOT of CDs, so don't be surprised if we don't get back to you. If there seems to be a fit, we'll call or email for more information. Take a moment to read our Band Policies, and be sure you understand them--they are part of doing business with us and playing live at the pub.
